BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARDS
The Bureau of Indian Standards is working closely with the ABS India team to develop the relevant section of the NBC and several other relevant provisions in the various codes and standards, to be included in the future constructional projects in India.

ABS India President, Dr. Manjari Khanna Kapoor, is a member of the panel constituted towards the development of the CED-51- Town Planning and Housing and the author of all ABSI contributions to BIS.
The extract included in the NBC'25 is an abridged version of the full code which is to be included in the form of Guidelines in the standard being developed. Please find the downloadable version of the first draft from ABSI below.
