M E M B E R S H I P

Section 1: ELIGIBILITY

 Every subscriber to the Memorandum of the Society, every member of the Governing Body and every person who believes in the aims and objectives of this society and whom the Governing Body may admit as member shall be members of the society.

Section 2: SUBSCRIPTION

The fee of subscription for all the members shall be payable only at the time of enrollment as a member. The subscription shall be based upon different categories as listed below.

STUDENT MEMBERSHIP TYPES

Volunteer Membership for students (Events/Project Based)               : Rs. 200/-

Half Yearly Membership for students (6 months)                                   : Rs. 300/-

Annual Membership for students (12 months/ 1Year)*                         : Rs. 500/-

Permanent Membership for students (until graduation)                       : Rs. 1000/-

(For undergraduates only, post graduate and PhD students will be considered under the professional category.)

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP TYPES

Volunteer Membership for professionals (Events/Project Based)        : Rs. 1,000/-

Annual Membership for professionals (12 months)*                              : Rs. 2,500/-

Permanent Membership for professionals (Lifetime)                              : Rs. 5,000/-

*- the membership is valid for 12 months 

 

Discounts for student's membership converted to Professional  lifetime membership only.

      Governing Body members          75% discount                                     : Rs. 1250/-

      Office Bearers                                  60% discount                                     : Rs. 2000/-

      Permanent Student members     50% discount                                     : Rs. 2500/-

      Volunteer membership                 25% discount                                     : Rs. 3750/-

HONORARY MEMBERS

•Individuals who have or are likely to contribute towards the growth of ABSI including facilitators of  sponsorship (not less than 2 lakh rupees), leaders of any organisation or influential persons themselves.

•They may have been guiding lights and instrumental in various forms of guidance towards the fulfillment of the missions and realization of vision of ABSI.

•Such people can be nominated as honorary members upon the proposal by an office bearer and vote of minimum half the strength of the governing body.

•They are liable to pay no membership fee and their membership is also not time regulated in recognition  and gratitude for their services to ABSI.​

PATRON MEMBERS

  • High worth mentors and patrons who support and espouse the causes and missions of the ABSI. They may also be leaders of supporting/affiliated organisations.

  • Having their support leads us to other organisations and individuals who help further the missions of ABSI.

  • They are liable to pay no membership fee and their membership is also not time regulated in gratitude and abeyance for their mentorship to ABSI.

Section 3: VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS 

The person applying for a subscription must produce the following documents self-attested copy for submission and original copy for verifications:-

  • Identity Proof (Aadhar Card/ Voter ID/ Passport/or any documents issued by the government body)

  • Address Proof ( Voter ID/ Passport)

  • Proof of Educational Qualification ( copy of Degree/ Registration/ Copy of Fee Receipt)

Section 4: CESSATION OF MEMBERSHIP

A person shall cease to be a member of the society by resignation, death, found associated with criminal activities, disqualification, and insolvency or if the subscription becomes arrear more than 30 days. A member shall be deemed to have become disqualified, if in the view of the other members expressed by a resolution of the majority of the total member of the members, he is of unsound mind, or has worked against the aims and objects of the society or has committed an act, which makes it undesirable to have him as member or his membership cease to be in the interest of the society.

Section 5: REFUSAL

The Governing Body of the society may refuse any person the membership provided the Governing Body records the reasons for such refusal.

Section 6

The society “Association for Building Security, India” will not discriminate in membership on the basis of race, color, greed, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disabilities,

payment accepted by Cash or Cheque,

in the name of
